Welcome to Brilliant Minds Tutoring (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing https://www.brilliantmindsmm.com (the “Website”) or using any of our tutoring services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our Website or services.

1. Services

We provide private and small-group tutoring services in various academic subjects, test preparation, and related educational support, delivered in-person (Glenview, Illinois area) and/or online.

2. Scheduling & Booking

  • Sessions must be scheduled and paid for in advance through our Website, phone, or email.

  • We use third-party scheduling tools (e.g., Calendly, Acuity, or similar). Your use of those tools is also subject to their terms.

3. Payment

  • All fees are due at the time of booking or according to the package purchased.

  • We accept credit/debit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and other methods listed on the Website.

  • Payments are processed through secure third-party processors (Stripe, PayPal, etc.). We do not store full credit card information.

  • All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our Cancellation & Refund Policy below.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • 24-hour notice: You may cancel or reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice and receive a full credit toward a future session.

  • Less than 24 hours: Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are forfeited (full session fee charged).

  • No-shows: Considered forfeited with no refund or credit.

  • Package credits expire 12 months from purchase date unless otherwise stated.

  • We reserve the right to offer exceptions on a case-by-case basis (illness, family emergency, etc.).

5. Late Arrival

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late (in-person or online), the session may be shortened accordingly or considered a no-show at our discretion.

6. Conduct

  • Respectful behavior is required at all times toward tutors, staff, and other students.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone for disrespectful, disruptive, or unsafe behavior with no refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All tutoring materials, worksheets, practice tests, and original content provided by Brilliant Minds Tutoring are protected by copyright and are for your personal use only. You may not distribute, sell, or reproduce them without written permission.

8. Recording

Sessions may not be recorded (audio or video) by students or parents without prior written consent from Brilliant Minds Tutoring.

9. Liability Waiver

Tutoring services are educational support only. We do not guarantee specific grades, test scores, or admission outcomes. You agree to hold Brilliant Minds Tutoring, its owners, and tutors harmless from any claims related to academic performance or outcomes.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to services immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The new version will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
